7 Fascinating Facts About YouTube Video Views

400 hours of video is uploaded on YouTube every single minute of the day. With this amount of traffic you would expect a large number of videos to generate a high number of the total YouTube views on the site. The truth is that only 5% of the videos posted on YouTube are driving most of the views.

According to Tubular, there are 58.6 million YouTube videos on YouTube with more than 10,000 views. All these uploads put together have generated more than 7.4 Trillion YouTube views on the social media platform. Only 5% of  1.1 Billion videos on YouTube are generating almost 8 trillion views.

While there are around 59 million videos attracting over 10,000 YouTube views, there are only a handful of videos generating view counts in the hundreds of millions. The beginning of September 2015 the Internet welcomed its 8th video to reach 1 BILLION YouTube views. Meghan Trainor better known for her hit single Dear Future Husband joined the 100 Million Views Club which includes the likes of Psy, Justin Bieber, and Taylor Swift in one of the most exclusive societies in the world, the ‘YouTube Billion Views Club‘.

5 of the Most Viewed Videos on YouTube – Over 1B Views

The top 5 most watched videos of all time belong to professionally produced and marketed music videos. Here are the list of the top 5 YouTube videos of all time:

  1. Psy: Gangnam Style – 2,406,688,654 Views
  2. Justin Bieber: Baby – 1,207,377,406 Views
  3. Taylor Swift: Blank Space – 1,129,447,206 Views
  4. Katy Perry: Dark Horse – 1,086,631,431 Views
  5. Katy Perry: Roar: 1,049,137,307 Views

While these top 5 videos have surpassed over a billion views, only one continues to break YouTube records and be able to stand on top from the rest. Psy’s 2012 hit ‘Gangnam Style’ is the most watched YouTube video EVER!!! With over 2.5 billion views it became the first to reach that 2 billion mark. Most of these views were probably bought through service providers such as 500views and other YouTube websites which will boost your YouTube video for a fee.

Psy’s “Gangnam Style” YouTube video received so many views that the YouTube view counter couldn’t keep up with the numbers. YouTube Engineers for the site had to update the maximum view limit from 2,147,483,647 to 9,223,372,036,854,775,808.

In conclusion YouTube will always remain the number Video Upload website on the web. They are always thinking of new ways to make it more interactive for users to upload there YouTube videos. They keep on increasing the maximum allowed video size almost every month. With the speed increasing at this rate in 10 years, you’ll probably be able to store your whole life day by day into YouTube. More regular people will become famous from YouTube than any other platform available online. When it comes to buying youtube subscribers or people buying youtube views, the industry will probably change in the next couple of years. YouTube will make it harder for people to buy youtube views from providers. They made start taking all these service providers to court or try to shut them down because of advertising false promotion. It might or might now happen, it all depends on which way Google/YouTube is interested this issue.

Should I Use YouTube Views Bots ?

Questions and answers about YouTube Views Bots!

YouTube Views Bots

Youtube Views Bots

Dozens of YouTube account creators have recently been accused of artificially boosting their views count with Youtube Bots. This mess started a couple of years ago when she noticed a strange issue with her YouTube account. One of the many videos that was in her account had been removed mysteriously. YouTube did not provide any notice about the removal of her video.  The account was in good standing and did not have any issues regarding previous attempts of boosting her YouTube videos. A couple of days later the same thing happened to 3 more musicians who had the same situation happen to them. We were curious to find out if these 2 instances were caused by the same issue.

YouTube Cracks Down

YouTube started sending out notices and case for appeals for YouTube video’s that were removed. The appeal notice basically stated that “Your video got removed because you tried to cheat the system, if you want to appeal this decisions please fill out this information”. This in turn caused major headaches for the big time musicians. It was of up most embarrassment to have your video taken down and a big “THIS VIDEO HAS BEEN REMOVED” image on your video. YouTube completely removed the video and if that was your only copy you were out luck. There was no other way of recovering the video.

When 500Views reached out to YouTube to get some kind of response as to what was going on with this mess we were actually quite optimistic. We had prepared a Google Doc spreadsheet with every relevant piece of information related to the problem. We included real names, user names, the name of the videos that were effected, if the user received policy notice warning. We asked YouTube if they needed any relevant information to look into the problem but YouTube said they were not interested.

YouTube told us that all of the videos that showed them from the DOCS list had been taken down because they apparently violated SECTION H of their Terms and Conditions. They were not able to tell us why some users received appeal notices and some didn’t.

After our investigating into why YouTube was taken down the video based on Fake YouTube Views we decided to help out client’s that had there videos taken down. None of the appeals that were submitted resulted in there YouTube videos being restored. YouTube was in fact certain that these individuals were buying youtube views from suppliers.  We went ahead to ask YouTube if there was any additional information we could have provided to get the video’s back on the YouTube creators accounts. Unfortunately YouTube was unable to provide us with any more details on what kind of evidence they were looking for in an appeal. The only thing they were able to provide us link’s to there policy’s.
